Stertil-Koni USA Manufactures 20,000th column!
Stertil-Koni’s manufacturing facility, situated in Streator, Illinois, USA, has reached a significant milestone by producing its 20,000th Mobile Column Lift. This accomplishment highlights Stertil-Koni’s dominant position in North America’s heavy-duty vehicle lift sector. These Mobile Column Lifts are widely used by transit agencies, emergency services, corporate fleets, and more, thanks to their reliable hydraulic technology that ensures smooth and rapid lifting and lowering.
Scott Steinhardt, Stertil-Koni’s General Manager, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing the best range of Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) certified heavy-duty vehicle lifts. The Mobile Column Lifts, known for their durability, dependability, and mobility, are particularly popular in North America.
These lifts come with capacities ranging from 14,000 lbs. to 40,000 lbs. per column and utilize advanced hydraulic technology. They are available in different models, including wireless, cabled, and EARTHLIFT, offering rapid and consistent lifting and lowering. Built from high tensile DOMEX steel, they feature a touch-screen control console, a secure mechanical locking system, overload protection, and automatic synchronization systems.
Steinhardt also acknowledged the role of Stertil ALM’s president, Allan Pavlick, in the company’s success, enabling them to provide compliant lifting systems under the Buy America initiative.
This achievement follows a significant expansion of Stertil ALM’s manufacturing plant, which included the purchase of adjacent land and a 36,000 square foot expansion to enhance production efficiency.
